Working with the head contractor ARABTEC, Sontext and Deco Trading have completed prototypes for a unique curved ceiling and wall that could only be achieved by using the Fabritrak stretch wall system.

The World Trade Center Doha has been designed by International Design Consultants M.Z. & Partners. To achieve the desired design outcome for the building interiors, while not compromising the acoustic performance, Sontext have utilised trained installers from Fabritrak USA to assist with the project.

Fabritrak’s stretch wall systems have now become a significant part of Sontext’s range, adding to the the company’s already extensive range of Acoustic Panel solutions for Noise and Reverberation problems.

This will give Sontext a more complete range of acoustic and interior finishes for walls and ceilings. It will enable Sontext to offer their clients solutions that traditional pre-made fabric panels could not satisfy, such as Curved walls or seamless ceilings.

Sontext have trained installers that have recently been installing Fabritrak at the New Doha International Airport.

Fabritrak is a custom site installed stretch wall or ceiling system that enables the acoustic or upholstered system to incorporate all the unique feature of each site such as windows or power points.

One of the great new features introduced through Fabritrak are the wide span ceiling fabrics that can span up to 4.8m wide and almost any length. This system can incorporate lighting and also air conditioning systems giving a seamless decorative and highly acoustic ceiling.

Fabritrak leads the world in Green Products for wall linings with a very high recycled content in the track. Fabritrak achieves class A for ASTM E84 fire ratings.

ARTWALL is a digitally printed image on a wide span fabric. TheARTWALL process uses state of the art printing technology while maintaining the acoustic integrity of the system.

This means that the image can be installed along a wall without seams or unwanted joins. It enables the designer to incorporate a full wall landscape or image.

ARTWALL is available by simply providing Sontext with a High resolution image that will be printed by our expert team at JB Print Partners.

ARTWALL is suitable for large open spaces such as ball rooms, function rooms or can be used in exhibition centres. With the Fabritrak wall system the ARTWALL images can be changed without major disruption to the substrate or even the working environment.

Common causes of reflected sound  hard are  surfaces such as glass, plasterboard and even unbacked carpet tile. This environment leads to sound simply bouncing around the room, interfering with direct communication.

The most effective way to reduce this noise is to install sound absorbing wall panels like Serenity Acoustic Wall Panels.
